lung infection
i was released from work for the day. on compassionate ground. my aunt passed away.
seems vulnerable how humans are. she was warded, still conscious and joking. but that night, the doc said she needed to be transferred to intensive care unit because bacteria is beginning to attack her lungs. science can detect it, but not able to stop it. amazing, the force of nature.

adult toys
i used to think, that one won't see childish characters once you entered the corporate world. but i am SO wrong.
worse of characters are those who have studied abroad. i dono if there's any correlation but it just seems that way.
*how can one expect others to do their main task, WHEN THE PERSON IN CHARGE SPENT MOST OF THE TIME TALKING AND LAUGHING AND GO FOR 2 HOURS LUNCH.
*others stayed till late to clear his backlogs and he left on time. and he expect things to be that way ever since that one day of help. piss off!
one more thing i can't comprehend is one who keeps lying. to be in the "high society". and then covered up one lie with another. come on man, the world is small. everyone knows everyone. how far can a lie brings you?! accept who you are, where you're from. i'm not angry. i pity those who have low self esteem, or the lack of it.
whine and whine. what's the point. it takes all kind of people to make the world goes round. i'm equally childish cos i still buy toys. Adult toys.

what's your net worth??
is there a subject where you have studied in school, but you think it had not add any values to your life?
well, i used to thing that accounting is the only subject. but if i never studied that, i would not have come across the term, "balance sheet". what more, understands it.
balance sheet can be used to measure a company's net worth;
i.e.; net assets - net liabilities = net worth
now, with the same concept, u can measure your own net worth (tangible terms). it can make you smile, it can make you cry. it can make you ponder.
still blur? add up all your assets (fixed deposits, vehicles, bank balance etc), deduct your liabilities (amount owing to mum / frens etc. study loan, car loan, installment plans etc)
girls beware, a man who drives a luxury car and swipes his cards generously not neccessarily means he's rich
