da vinci

just bought the illustrated version of da vinci code, a birthday gift for a friend. and the hype is back again, at least for me.

Brown argues that since Christianity came to rule Western civilization over 1,500 years ago, the Church was able to rewrite historical facts in order to favor itself and make its past actions seem righteous. Brown, along with many other historians, believes that history must be studied, while keeping in mind that what we regard as true may not necessarily be so. He even goes so far as to question whether or not our version of history even occurred in the first place.

re-offender

my exam have kickstarted! i'm grateful my papers are evently spreaded out. i know one who have five papers on consecutive days!

strangely, external factors made this period my busiest time too. i have to mark like 40 exam scripts. and do twenty-odd individual progress reports. not forgetting meet-the-fockers sessions.

and birthdays have the tendency to fall in this period too.

and of course weddings and engagements, of close people, so not just attend, but to help in planning, execute etc. aaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh.

i'm not complaining, just whining. these are part and parcel, social responsibilities. fiduciary duties of a man.

but what i can't stand is those who look for me just to bring up the past.

and most friends whom i can just call and let go are overseas.

feee-wit!

silence... i don wanna mar this beauty by saying anything.

broderip v salomon

if u ever have the thought of self-destruction, presenting yourself to infernal hell, don't u even try to drag me along. we are a separate legal entity. there's no implied agency between us. no corporate veil to be lifted. stop playing victim. u are not the plaintiff, nor am i the defendant.

i have the right to remain angry

i find it really weird when people ask me to tell them their flaws. cos most of the time(not trying to generalise), they will only re-inforce the flaws, given time.

but what is more baffling and annoying, are those who out of nowhere, try to correct your flaws. i'm not saying i don't have flaws. but you don't have to call me up, out of the blue, on the pretext of having a conversation, and then start preaching. come on... practice what you preach, bitch.

    USURPER!

    peace the f*** out
